Do I need to sponsor candidates / issue a work Visa to hire in LatAm?
You don't. Candidates are not US-based and therefore don't need a visa/sponsorship to work.
What roles can I hire for?
We specialize in the following categories: Finance & Accounting, Customer Support & VAs, and Sales & Marketing. We can quickly fill any role that falls into one of those buckets. We fill Software Engineer roles with a standard recruiting model.
How do I pay candidates?
When you're ready to make a hire, we'll connect you with one of our payroll partners. They can help you pay your international employees with ease.
What does zero-risk hiring mean?
If you don't make a hire, you don't pay anything. We don't charge upfront fees and we make pricing is fully transparent once we have your role requirements.
How does your pricing work?
We charge a flat fee per hire that can be paid as a monthly fee or a one-time success fee. We occasionally charge a % of the candidate's salary if the role is very niche or is in Software Engineering.
Are these jobs full-time?
Yes. Most jobs on Near are full-time. There are some part-time and project-based opportunities as well.
Do I need a visa/sponsorship?
No. Since you're not US-based, you don't need any type of visa or sponsorship to work for a US company.
Can I work directly with these companies?
Yes. When you're hired by a company on Near, you'll join them as a team member. Just as if you were working remotely for a company based in your country.
How do I receive my salary?
Your employer will pay you your salary. Most companies use an international payroll solution (Deel, Ontop, remote.com, Pilot) to pay their employees. You can receive your funds through PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, direct bank transfer to your US or local bank account, or even with crypto.
